Above are the links to the worksheets for this project.
Below are the links you will need to for the project as well as a button to link you to the worksheet and reference pages passed out in class.
Part 1 -
Use the link below to answer the questions on the Periodic Project Worksheet. Be careful...I am looking for detail.....on #3 and #4....remember valence refers to the outer electrons ......on #3 it refers having and needed valence electrons....think about it.
Now use what you have learned to color code the periodic table sheet that I have given you. There is a place at the bottom of the periodic table to create your own color coding for the different families. Be sure to include all families and make sure your color codes are correct; however, you do not have to use the colors that the powerpoint research pages uses.
Part 4 - THE PERIODIC PROJECT - WHAT YOU'VE BEEN WORKING UP TO!!!!
For this part you will need to see the teacher for your Partner Assignment as well as the Family Choice. Once you have your partner and your family assignment, you and your partner need to review the project requirements on the Period Project Page. Together you will need to decide on a project type and write up an outline of your project idea including the required information for your family assignment. Make sure you get approval from your teacher by having her inital your planning page. You have until Dec 4 in the computer lab to work on the project. Equipment needs and arrangements will need to be made to present your project on a day next week.
